Five years ago, Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas, a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers.
Now, it’s the early 90’s. Carl’s got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster.

One of the biggest, grandest, most ambitious games now accessible in a swipe and a finger tap. Without a controller, auto aim does heavy lifting for a lot of the game's combat. Graphics are kinda rough for any character that isn't CJ. And most environments. I dont mind too much though. Overall a big, fun, dumb world to cruise around in forever.

Here we go again...having played this 22 years ago on the PS2 at sleepovers (my friend's older brother had it), this is a great port. Having San Andres in the palm of your hand, on your everyday smartphone, is quite amazing. Bored? Play some GTA on the go in quite possibly the most convenient way ever. Graphics are crisp, character models look just like how I remember them, reflections, touch controls, and the option to play with a controller. Also dirt cheap, well worth it.

After 14 years this is still a bad port. Swimming is non-functional. No it's not because of the frame rate, even at 30 fps it's still broken. UV animations on waterfalls and casino lights are still missing. No secondary objects have the dynamic shadows from PC/Xbox. The original version of this game used multiple caches to store textures and a lot of different textures used the same names. In this version they put all the textures into one cache and it ruined certain textures like windows.
